UAlg organizes international conference t-Forum 2020
The Center for Research in Tourism, Sustainability and Welfare (CinTurs) of the University of Algarve, in partnership with the Pestana Group, will organize the 3rd edition of the world conference of the Association t-Forum (Tourism Intelligence Forum), which will be held March 18-21, 2020. The call for papers is already running and runs until October 15th.
T-Forum is a global institution dedicated to the transfer of knowledge and innovation in Tourism, based in Italy.
The t-Forum 2020 conference will focus on "Breaking Old Barriers for a New World: Mobilizing Intelligence to Survive ", exploring the possibilities of transferring knowledge / intelligence into Tourism. The first edition of this conference was held in Naples, Italy, in 2015, and the second in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, in 2018.
The t-Forum will bring to the Algarve six Keynote Speakers of recognized international merit, will provide several workshops aimed at academia and industry and will bring together the main national and international players in the tourism industry in panels that will discuss the challenges currently facing the tourism sector . For three days, about 250 participants will debate issues related to the transfer of knowledge between academia to the business community.
Aimed at professionals in the tourism sector and academics, its target audiences are companies, institutions and agencies involved in the creation and / or application of intelligence to tourism, including tourism and hospitality companies, destinations, public bodies, science and technology parks, entrepreneurs, executives and professionals, destination administrators, public authorities, consultants and academics.
